We are running close to hundreds of human genetic, single nucleotide polymorphism tests per day: genital swabs, urine samples for the most common STDs as sexually transmitted infections, like chlamydia, gonorrhea, or trichomonas vaginalis. Processing a test with 60 to 90 samples takes us from 1 hour to 1 hour 20 minutes depending on the protocol used. With Medix’s instant molecular detection technology, this process will take less than 10 minutes.   Gains: (1) Overall test turnaround is shorter, which increases the overall quality of our service.
